About the program

What do GPS, 5G, Bluetooth and broadband have in common? They’re all part of the fast-changing world of wireless communications. As the communication of voice, video and data continues to converge worldwide, there is an increasing demand for employees who have sound theoretical knowledge and highly specialized technical skills in this field.

The Wireless Systems Engineering Technology diploma at NAIT prepares you for a career in wireless communications by covering network principles, communication theory, system infrastructure and transmission methods. You’ll gain hands-on experience in broadband wireless technologies, enterprise systems and industrial applications while developing business and project management skills through a capstone research project.

Graduates of this program will be prepared for a variety of roles in industries such as telecommunications, media services and IT, helping to connect the devices and systems that drive our modern, wireless world.
